Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American actor and singer. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Kristen is from Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment at an early stage of her life. When she was in 1992, the actress attended her first audition, and was able to win an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mom enrolled her with an agency before her 13th birthday. She later appeared on television commercials and newspaper ads. In addition, Bell started taking private acting classes. Bell was credited with a minor performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production at her highschool won Bell the role of the lead Dorothy role. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre upon the completion of her studies. Bell graduated from the school in 2001, when she took the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also when Bell's debut appearance was in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in is cut off and the credits only display her. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
