Jana Kramer is a country performer, singer and songwriter who rose to stardom on the television screen when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. Her first few releases as a country singer appeared on the episodes of the show, which helped her debut album, titled "Eponymous," into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, was also among the Top Ten. The decade ended by performances in Dancing with the Stars. Released in 2021 was the self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan. She was a child who listened to country music, and later went on to pursue a career in recording. She focused on her musical career, but she also continued acting and starred in films that drew her followers such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. In October of 2015, Kramer dropped her debut album thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy - a Top Five Country hit - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, singing a duet on the album reach the top ten of the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her stint on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place final.
